BRIDAL EVENT: Diamond Dash: Dash for a Diamond & a Cure

Michael C. Fina and TACORI, leaders in the jewelry and bridal industry, have partnered to host their second annual diamond scavenger hunt in Manhattan on September 25, 2010 at 12:00 noon entitled the “Diamond Dash: Dash for a Diamond & a Cure™.” Proceeds generated through the dash will support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), of which Michael C. Fina is a Mission Sponsor for the New York Chapter.

Grand prize winners of the Diamond Dash will receive a beautiful handcrafted Tacori engagement ring setting, matched with a Tacori Diamond, valued at approximately $20,000, and a five-day honeymoon to the luxury adults-only all-inclusive, Aventura Spa Palace, in the heart of the Riviera Maya in the Mexican Caribbean. The dash will culminate with a once-in-a-lifetime live marriage proposal.

Dashers will make their way to various destinations in New York via a clue sent to their mobile device and contained on their clue sheet. Upon reaching each location they will be asked to take a photo of themselves in front of the designated dash signage and text in a code, triggering valuable information needed to help them solve an anagram puzzle. The first five teams to visit all the dash locations and correctly solve the puzzle will be deemed finalists after verification. Finalists will then compete in one last challenge for the grand prize.

Dash participants can also win prizes from partners including Bridal Reflections (wedding gown), Ron Ben-Israel Cakes (groom’s cake), Mionetto (Prosecco Brut), Once Upon a Bride (makeover), Orchestrations (entertainment), Matthew Robbins (design consultation), John Allan (gift basket), NewlyWish (registry items) and Photomuse (photography session) by purchasing raffle tickets. All proceeds will be donated to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Prizes will be on display at an after-party held at Michael C. Fina following the dash’s conclusion.

Interested couples can sign up for the event at Diamond Dash or at Michael C. Fina. Visit diamonddash.com/terms_and_conditions for official rules.
